Hard Cider -- October's "Appropriate" Drink

It's that time of year - FALL and Cider drinkin' time.

Thursday, October 23rd between 6pm - 8pm. We'll sniff, swirl and sip our way through 5 spooky Ciders. It's a tasting not to miss!

We love wine, laughter and good friends. So join us for our now monthly Horizontal Tasting. You can lie down with a straw if you desire! But "Horizontal" simply means a specific year is chosen.

$15/person includes tastings of 5 ciders and some nibblies as usual.

Heated Tent Arrives! [October 3, 2008]

Our garden patio tent arrived last week. Everyone thought we were setting up for a private party, and in a way we were - its for YOU - all our great friends and neighbors. And as of yesterday, it’s heated - just in time for this lovely fall rain and cool down. Come check it out, sit on a straw bale even and enjoy this great Oregon weather. Looking forward to watching the rain in a cozy, unique setting with you soon!

Sidewalk Sale [August 31, 2008]

Oscar Albert had a fun ( a bit rainy) but great Sidewalk Sale this weekend. We’re making room for all the fun new products and plants coming in - so keep checking us out! And we have a Winter Gardening/Winterizing Your Garden Seminar on the 6th of Sept. at 1pm. Then a “How to create a Home Orchard” seminar on the 27th presented by the Orchard Society! Book Club a Success!! [June 3, 2008]

A fabulous evening of great conversation, great wine and yes, a decision on the first book! For all those that couldn’t make it to the first Oscar Albert Book Club meeting - we are reading: “The Billionaire’s Vinegar” by Benjamin Wallace. I’m half way through and its fabulous! I am looking forward to our discussion at the up-coming meeting, July 10th at 6:30pm.
